Truer Medical, Inc. was founded by Tim Truitt and Gerry Krippner in memory of their common friend and medical industry mentor Doug Mongeon. The name Truer comes from a combination of the founders last names. In 2007, Truer was formed as a management company to manage Shore Medical, Inc. after Mr. Mongeon's unfortunate passing. In late, 2009, Truer purchased the assets of Shore Medical and continues to manufacture and market Shore Medical products.
